ABOUT

Hello! My name is Lexi, and I am a painter based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I earned my BFA from The University of Michigan's Stamps School of Art and Design in the Spring of 2023.

The focus of my artistic practice has always been painting. In my most recent exhibition Through Washes and Layers, I have been captivated by the act of creating bold and vibrant abstract paintings.

These works demonstrate no allegiance to any one type of mark making, but borrow from the rich and expansive history of painting. My work does not put expectation on viewers to decode any hidden meaning, but simply asks to be experienced.
